A M Mobile Telecom Private Limited was founded on 31st July, 1995 at Kolkata, as the City witnessed the launch of first Cellular Service in the nation on 15th August,1995.
Celebrating 27 Years of operations now, initially A M Mobile started working as one of the first Direct Sales Agent for the Kolkata GSM telecom circle licensee, Usha Martin Telekom Ltd., whose GSM services were being marketed under the brand name of Command Cell Phone Service. A M Mobile commanded high credentials in the market.
Widely respected as a quality service provider firm, it established itself as the first choice in providing corporate solutions to Blue Chip companies and SME’s. A M Mobile came up with its first retail outlet as a company branded outlet Command Shop at Howrah in 1999.
The company had a long term vision and took a calculated risk of expanding out of Kolkata markets and entered the fastest growing industrial town of South Bengal, Durgapur. The region’s first Mall Dreamplex Mall, was the prime location for opening a Nokia Priority Dealer (NPD) showroom in September 2005.
A quick succession followed with the opening of another NPD showroom at East Kolkata’s retail and residential landmark – Hiland Park’s Metropolis Mall in November 2005.
The ever popular retail destination of Kolkata the City Centre Mall was chosen to open the next retail showroom in February 2006.
The New Year 2008 brightened further with North Bengal’s biggest city, Siliguri’s operations starting at the only Shopping Mall of the region at Cosmos Mall in Feb 2008.
In late 2010’s , as winds of changes swept the Mobile Telecom Industry, we switched over to Multi brand showrooms across the board to cater to all kinds of mobile phone and gadgets buyers.
The latest addition to our chain is the MI Xiaomi brand store at Durgapur, which was opened in August 2022.
Currently we are operating in 5 Stores across Kolkata, Siliguri and Durgapur.
From a very humble beginning, we have taken firm steps towards a future, which is bright, brilliant and full of promises. With a spirited and highly motivated team and their families supporting, inspiring and guiding us, Sky is the Limit.
